Install the most important programs you need first- forget about the games for now. If you want to make things simpler do this run, a full format on your hard drive, install Windows Home or 64bit whichever one is giving you the error. What was the last (application/M$ update/driver) you added to your system that cause the error to appear for the first time? Obviously, this error could be anything, your physical ram could be failing, you may have errors on your hard drive or even errors caused by sh*tty program code? So what I would like you to do is back track. This could only mean it's software related and it's maybe your OS? If this is occurring on Windows XP Home, may I ask what Service pack do you have install on it? If you are using Service pack 2 then upgrade to service pack 3 or vice-versa for testing purposes. Let's see you have reformatted the hard drive and have checked your ram modules with Memtest, to end up with the same error. If the above options don't work for you? Give this a try.
